The ai2 Institute is one of the six research institutes of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) that forms part of InnDIH established by the European Commission as a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH). The initiative seeks both to improve the level of digital maturity of SMEs and to reduce the risk of incorporating digitalization into their processes, products or services. The main concept of the project is “test before invest”. In this case, the ai2 Institute provides and offers the possibility to test the concept of a product or service using its modern laboratories and evaluate whether the result obtained is viable and real.
From the beginning to the end InnDIH offers a guided and completely free of charge support not only in “test before invest” service but also in specific tailored trainings to improve knowledge in digital technologies and support to find investment and business partners at a local and/or European level (networking).
It is worth to be noted that InnDIH is a consortium formed by a network of partners including business ecosystem, universities, technology and research centers and biotechnology-health research institutes. The main inspiration of InnDIH project is to be able to establish a tailored connection with SMEs in the Valencian Community. To achieve this, close collaboration with companies is essential, so that specific solutions are truly tailored to what SMEs need while increasing and improving their digital maturity.
InnDIH solid experience and its commitment promotes the development and implementation of digital technologies in the priority domains of Health and Quality of Life and Advanced Manufacturing, as well as in any other area that requires digital technologies.
InnDIH provides a wide range of digital solutions and services based mainly on Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as on other technologies such as HPC, Cybersecurity, Big Data and Robotics with high sectoral transversality.
