This project is born from the needs to have a e-invoicing system to the Public administrations, under European Laws changing the billing process. To do that, the consortium will solve the whole complexity related to intercommunication and data integration, coordinated by EDICOM, employing the EDICOM B2B Cloud Platform. And, they will implement a multi-syntax solution able to handle e-invoicing in multiple standards, according to the needs of each participant with their own ERP systems and the specifications detailed in the European regulation, in order to achieve semantically interoperable electronic documents in the EU scope.

The project is also based on the PEPPOL specifications considering that all participants will use a Peppol Access Point to communicate with others to exchange the electronic invoices.

GOV2EU objectives are:

• To promote the uptake and use of the e-Invoice
• To facilitate to EU business the cross-border invoicing to the NHS using the e-invoicing
• To respect the European legal requirements (Directive 2014/55/EU)

9 partners from 9 different countries: 4 universities, 8 private business, and 17 hospitals under the coordination of EDICOM (e-invoicing platform provider)
